D.A.M.E. (Damean David) is a rapper and producer from NYC. D.A.M.E. spits fast, aggressive flows over sleek, immersive beats. His bars are authentic, full of lyrical storytelling, hard hitting punch lines, and emotional depth. D.A.M.E.’s next project God Sleeps in the Dark is due to drop any second now. Eliza Moon

eliza moon is Emma K. Lee in her bedroom. She makes 'indie' songs for headphones and bus rides, all with endearing harmonies and dusty blue energy. She is a dancer and illustrator with an interest in film, and enjoys mixing these mediums in her work and collaborating with other creators. Her music is intimate and fine in its smallness, her dancing is modern and plays with the pedestrian, and her illustration and painting are graphic and personal. In her music she uses her voice, guitar, and keyboard. She is largely influenced in all areas by her journal and her friends, especially spending time with those friends who are also artists in their shared spaces. She also cites Frankie Cosmos’ early solo work as greatly influencing the kind of music she first started making.

Madska

Madska (Maddy Weisman) is a singer, songwriter, and producer from the NYC area. Her music is mainly R&B in style, with touches of the singer songwriter tradition, some bedroom pop and chill electronica as well. Madska’s slightly smoky, but clear voice moves gracefully through intricate yet catchy melodies over classic live band R&B grooves and electronic beats alike. Her latest release is Bunny (link).

Maeve Schallert

As a recent Conservatory-dropout, violinist Maeve Schallert has been exploring the relationship between improvisation and composed music. After an insane April in which she was part of sixteen concerts, she found new love for the instrument, both in her own writing and creating, and in playing and collaboration with other musicians and non-musicians. She has experience in free improvisation, jazz, electronics, and classical music. She is part of a duo project with her dear friend and housemate Luke Haaksma (hammered dulcimer), tentatively named Obscure Pasta Shapes. She has greatly enjoyed working for producers and being sampled for creative manipulation and alteration, though she would love to release her own project very soon. She was currently working on sound for a dance piece, a score for a poem, and her moderation recording. She cites Rafiq Bhatia, Todd Reynolds, Flying Lotus, D'Angelo, Lupe Fiasco, Milo, the musicians in her life, and Matt Sargent as inspirations.

Matias Van Order Gonzalez

Matias Van Order Gonzalez is a producer in several senses of the word. He records artists, works with them on the arrangements of their songs, and advises them in the classic "rock ‘n’ roll producer" way. He is also works as an electronic and rap producer, starting instrumental ideas for vocalists to add their parts to. He plays guitar and bass, uses his laptop for sampling and VST synthesis, and mixes. His solo work veers into the world of experimental ambient/IDM music. He enjoys creating ambient/IDM, rap beats, dream pop, indie rock, and R&B, and cites Nicolas Jaar, The Haxan Cloak, Eliane Radigue, and Tim Hecker as his primary inspirations.

Rembrant

Rembrant is a producer and photographer from Portland Oregon. He mainly produces hip-hop and electronic music, but is also comfortable with indie and pop production. He is also a guitarist and graphic designer. In his photography he works a lot with digital manipulation, primarily through photoshop, and has a good deal of experience editing and designing within photoshop. He also, however, has a good deal of experience shooting and working with film based photography.
